It’s creeped out audiences at the box office earlier this year, and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has now confirmed that the next movie in the Insidious series, Insidious Chapter 2 will be terrifying audiences on Blu-ray from January 6th.
Already acclaimed by Empire as “hugely hokey horror fun”, Insidious Chapter 2 is the latest film from horror director James Wan, the man behind Saw and The Conjuring, and producer Oren Peli, the mastermind behind Paranormal Activity. The supernatural horror-mystery movie picks off right where the first chapter off, with the Lambert family still inexplicably haunted by spirits. This time, the family enlist the help of paranormal investigators Specks (Leigh Wannell) and Tucker (Angus Sampson) to find out why they are being targeted. You might need to hide behind the sofa to watch this movie, as James Wan’s meticulous timing makes the jump scares even tenser than before.
The Blu-ray comes with a wealth of exclusive supplementary features, including a Q&A with the stars and a look inside scriptwriter Leigh Wannell’s Insidious journal.
