For this week’s Blu-ray Monday, we are giving you a chance to win a copy of Pixar’s early animated movie classic, Monsters, Inc. which is now available in an all-new 3D version.
Pixar’s revitalised Blu-ray 3D version brings the monsters to life, but family audiences need not be afraid. The film charmingly spells out the message that laughter is the strongest antidote to fear, and that even though we think monsters are scary, they are often just as scared as us. The Blu-ray pack includes 2D and 3D versions of the film, and exciting bonus features including theatrical short Partysaurus Rex (which stars Rex, the neurotic dinosaur from Toy Story).
As usual with our Blu-ray Monday competitions, you have two chances to win. For your first entry, just click on the tweet button above. Then for a second entry, leave a comment below in response to the following question:
In Monsters Inc, Billy Crystal’s comic personality is portrayed perfectly as the loveable monster Mike Wazowski in yet another example of Pixar’s uncanny ability to cast the perfect voices in their weird and wonderful screen creations. So this week we wondered which actors you think have been best portrayed by their animated incarnations? Maybe you think it was Eddie Murphy as Donkey in Shrek, Robin William’s voiceover as the Genie in Aladdin, or Tom Hank’s performance as Woody in Toy Story? Alternatively, tell us which of your favourite actors you’d like to see try out an animated movie, and which types of character would best suit them. Perhaps Natalie Portman would make a cute mouse, or Helen Mirren could be a ferocious dragon?
To make it easier for us to contact you, remember to leave your Twitter details with your comment. Good luck!
