Although still packing out cinemas across Europe, initial details on the Blu-ray Disc release of American Pie: Reunion have emerged this week from Universal.
The film, coming more than a decade after American Pie was first released, sees Jim (Jason Biggs), Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), Stifler (Seann William Scott), Oz (Chris Klein) and the rest of gang return to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. Featuring the risqué comedy the franchise has become known for, American Pie: Reunion is both a nostalgic look-back and a new must-see for fans.
The disc is set to include an Unrated version of the film, plus a wide range of special features including an ‘Out of Control’ commentary track where cast members appear on screen to laugh at or comment on their fellow actors, a look at the cast and crew’s experiences with star Jason Biggs in The Best of Biggs, a behind-the-scenes look at Chris Klein’s dancing in Dancing with the Oz, an interactive yearbook featuring characters from throughout the American Pie franchise, and various deleted and extended scenes.
American Pie: Reunion will hit Blu-ray later this year – when a European release date is confirmed we’ll let you know. In the meantime, The HD Room has more details.
