For this week’s competition we’re giving you the chance to win a copy of mutant masterpiece X-Men: First Class on Blu-ray.
Set during 1960’s Cold War America, the film tells how Charles Xavier (played by James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) formed the original crime-fighting band of mutants now known as the X-Men, and became their better-known alter-egos Professor X and Magneto.
As usual with Blu-ray Monday, you have two chances to win. For your first entry hit the tweet button at the top of this post. Then for a second entry, leave a comment on this post in response to the following question:
The astounding success of X-Men: First Class is proof that audiences can’t get enough of prequels, and films like Star Wars Episodes 1-3, Hannibal Rising and Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated prequel to Alien ‘Prometheus’ show we love to re-visit our favourite characters at an earlier time. This week we’d like to know what characters you’d like to see have a prequel film made of their early life and why. Perhaps you’d be keen to find out what made a young Jack Sparrow or Sherlock Holmes tick? Maybe you’d like to see the mischief caused by a teenage Fast and Furious gang or The Inbetweeners in primary school? Or maybe you’d relish seeing what Michael Myers got up to in his asylum years or Satine’s journey to the Moulin Rouge dancehall? Either way let us know who you’d like to see and why. We look forward to your suggestions!
