Following our earlier Doctor Who announcement, it seems that the second installment of great Blu-ray releases are hot news this week as Warner revealed that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be released as a Triple Play Blu-ray pack on December 2nd. There is no news yet on a 3D release but rest assured, we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
The final instalment in the Potter franchise on Blu-ray comes with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio as well as a host of extras including: Maximum Movie Mode: Blowing Up Hogwarts (hosted by Matthew Lewis, aka Neville Longbottom), A Conversation with J.K. Rowling and Daniel Radcliffe, The Goblins of Gringotts, The Women of Harry Potter, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Pottermore Preview and Deleted Scenes.
If you own a PS3, you’re also in for a treat as the video game LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 will also be available in demo form on the disc.
If you want the whole Potter saga on Blu-ray then you may be interested to know that a box set containing all eight Potter films is also being released on December 2nd.
