Another of this summer’s most popular films, X-Men: First Class, is making its way to Blu-ray Disc later this year.
Set during 1960’s Cold War America, the film tells how Charles Xavier (played by James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) originally formed the crime-fighting band of mutants now known as the X-Men, and became their better-known alter-egos Professor X and Magneto.
Although a European release date is yet to be announced, 20th Century Fox has announced the bonus content we can expect to see when the BD hits shelves later this year. In addition to the HD version of the movie, the disc will include an eight-part making-of documentary called ‘Children of the Atom’, an interactive database of the series’ mutant characters called the ‘Cerebro Mutant Tracker’, and ‘X marks the Spot’, an interactive feature that provides behind-the-scenes footage as the film plays. Comic book fans will also be delighted to find out that ten X-Men digital comics will also come with the package.
