“Welcome to Jurassic Park”… on Blu-ray.
One of the most popular film trilogies of all time is now available for pre-order on Blu-ray and will officially hit European shores from 25th October.
Based on the late Michael Crichton’s best-selling novel, Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park broke all previous box office records when it was released in 1993. The science-meets-dinosaurs world also returned again in the popular sequels The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III.
The Blu-ray trilogy will be re-mastered for 1080p picture, with all three films shown in their original aspect ratios of 1.85:1 and given DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. It will also feature all the supplements from the previous DVD editions, including twenty different featurettes. You can check out a full list of supplements on Blu-ray.com.
Furthermore, the Blu-ray pack has digital copies of the three films and a six-part retrospective documentary called Return to Jurassic Park, produced especially for the Blu-ray release. Episodes are titled Dawn of a New Era, Making Pre-history, The Next Step in Evolution, Finding The Lost World, Something Survived and The Third Adventure. The Blu-ray release also boasts behind-the-scenes segments and never-before-seen interviews with the cast and crew of the three films, including Steven Spielberg himself.
Other features also exclusive to Blu-ray are Universal’s BD-Live, My Scenes, pocket BLU, Advanced Remote Control and more.
