Comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have teamed up again for an adventure that’s truly out of this world in sci-fi comedy Paul, which lands on Blu-ray Disc in June.
Having succeeded in making us laugh until we cried in comedy classics Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, the twosome are back again but this time as alien fanatics Graeme (Pegg) and Clive (Frost). In their quest to seek out alien life forms the bumbling pair’s mission takes an unexpected turn – they actually find one! Paul the extra-terrestrial (voiced by Seth Rogen) has cunningly escaped an army base in the desert and so ensues a road trip of universal proportions as the trio attempt to evade capture.
Released in a Triple Play pack with BD, DVD and Digital copy of the movie, earthlings are sure to be impressed with the intergalactic special features on offer. Commentaries from the director, producer, Pegg and Frost add a galaxy of insight into the filming process and getting to grips with a genre close to all their hearts. Nine features which include ‘Between Lightning Strikes: The Making Of Paul’ explore the production processes undertaken to bring the movie to life alongside blooper reels and galleries that enhance the behind-the-scenes experience.
