Any fan of the smash hit series Lost will speak of the emotional rollercoaster ride they have taken with the characters over the last six years. This September, the journey can be relived in high definition glory, with the announcement of Lost: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray Disc.
The transfer to Blu-ray does not go unnoticed, marking a significant improvement to both sound and picture quality. As HDRoom explains: From beginning to end, the video transfer on Lost: The Complete Collection is as good as television on Blu-ray gets.
Aside from the feature itself, the box includes a number of fun additions to get you in the mood for a marathon helping of Lost. Under the lid is an embossed map of the Lost island, as well as a book full of pictures and a synopsise for each episode. This is a great reference tool for looking up specific scenes, and HDRoom describes it as, the show’s bible. Other additions include a Senet game, a black light torch pen and a Ankh replica with a journal entry included.
To top it off, this Blu-ray Disc is full of special features including featurette, Crafting a final season, where creators Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof discuss the pressures of bringing Lost to an end. The Lost Bloopers are also worth a watch, only if it’s for Matthew Fox’s reactions to a noisy rooster while he’s trying to deliver his lines.
