Ultra HD Blu-ray players play all current Blu-ray Disc content. When connected to a current HDTV, the player will output a standard HDTV signal. Ultra HD Blu-ray players will support existing Blu-ray media, as well as provide down conversion and HDR to SDR conversion functionality to match the connected television’s capabilities.
Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs cannot be played in a standard Blu-ray Disc player.
