Just shy of two decades after its initial release, The Mummy Trilogy, directed by Stephen Sommers and starring Brendan Fraser, is available on Ultra-HD Blu-ray on the 12th June.
All three movies follow Adventurer Rick O’Connell (Fraser) as he faces various ancient Egyptian monsters. The first is set deep in the Egyptian desert. Where O’Connell and a motley archaeological crew accidentally unearth and resurrect an ancient 3,000-year-old legacy of terror – The Mummy! In the second film, the cured Mummy is resurrected alongside a force even more powerful: the Scorpion King (played by Dwayne Johnson). The final instalment drags the O’Connell family back to battle a 2,000-year-old ruthless dragon emperor. Each film is filled with dazzling visual effects, extraordinary creatures and intense battle sequences.
This is the ultimate movie watching experience, reviving the original Mummy series just in time for the remake, starring Tom Cruise and out at cinemas now.
