Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced its upcoming Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray release of Jonathan Demme’s film Philadelphia (1993), starring Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Roberta Maxwell, Antonio Banderas, and Anna Deavere. The release will be available for purchase on November 26th.
Philadelphia stars Academy Award winners Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington as two competing lawyers who join forces to sue a prestigious law firm for AIDS discrimination. As their unlikely friendship develops, their courage overcomes the prejudice and corruption of their powerful adversaries.
